Meet Our New SGC - Gymnastics Operations Manager

Meet Michelle Jones

Introducing Michelle Jones to the Management Team at SGAC – Gymnastics.

Michelle is our New Operations Manager and will be in charge of the day to day running of the Business. Michelle joins us from the corporate world at Commonwealth bank. In her spare time Michelle loves to play softball and has done for over 30 years. The most important things in life for her are family and friends.

Why did you choose to work at SGAC?

It’s a fantastic facility supporting kids to get active, learn new skills and pursuing dreams. Having been a parent at SGAC since 2013, I’ve been inspired watching and interacting with some of these kids and coaches over the past 4 years and seeing them grow and develop. It was an opportunity to work in a very different industry and leverage my skills to support the SGAC teams continued growth and ensure parents have good communication about their child’s program and progress.

What goals do you have for 2018 to help SGAC move forward?

I want to ensure we have a high performing centre where coaches enable kids to achieve personal best goals, our parents feel connected through more regular communication and we are recognised as 2018 Gymnastics Club of the Year. We definitely have opportunities to do things better and I look forward to making positive changes this year to bring this goal to life.

To date, what do you like most about SGAC?

Having worked with adults for many years, it’s been great being around kids and seeing the smiles on their faces when they are truly loving what they do & achieving new skills.

Please join me in welcoming Michelle to the team; we look forward to new and streamlined processes for 2018.
